Your Dee Dee and Pops were out of town last week so they came over for dinner and to see you tonight when they got back. They were playing with you on the living room floor when I got home this evening. I walked in and said “hello” to you and your grandparents thought it quite cute that you suddenly lost interest in them and got very excited to see me.
Before you were born I had several people tell me that one of the best things about being a dad is the look of excitement you receive when you walk in the door after a long day at the office. I have to agree! What you might not realize is that I am just as excited to see you!
