It has been a mild summer and one without much discomfort. That is why I was so dismayed when I woke up this morning scratching my leg and realized that I had a bunch of mosquito bites.
You and I went over to our new house with your mom yesterday as she did a chore on the property. We threw a blanket in the front yard grass and started to play when I realized that there were mosquitos everywhere. I figured they would be trying to bite on you, so I spent a lot of time making sure they didn't get near you. I guess that left my own skin wide open. So now I have itchy bumps on my legs.
That is okay. I'd rather have 100 mosquito bites than for you to have one!
