Sadie -
Mom heard you waking up before I did this morning, so she sneaked into your room, got you out of your crib, and brought you into our room to wake me up.
I was still sleepy so I grabbed you, laid you tummy-down in a crawling position on my chest, and pulled the covers up over us to your shoulders. I didn't think this would last long. Usually you are not much on snuggling. Much to my surprise, you almost immediately rested your head on my shoulder and quit moving. You didn't go to sleep or close your eyes; you just laid quitely and cuddled for close to 10 minutes. Mom crawled in next to us, and we started our week as one big "snuggle bug."
I don't think my week could get much better than that!
