You have entered the stage of “discovery.” If you can touch it, you want to. And if you touch it, you usually try to put it in your mouth. This of course, means Mom and I have to have an even more keen and careful eye when you are around.
Tonight I was holding you and you were thoughtfully examining my face. Suddenly you reached out and grabbed a fistful of my chin. I looked at you surprised (and actually in a little bit of pain!) and you giggled! You are pretty impressed by your newfound ability to manipulate objects.
It is fun to watch you discover things like this about yourself (even if it literally hurts me sometimes!)
