You are getting to be so independent! Feeding you used to be a long involved process, but it is becoming less that way every day. Most meal times now I just strap you into your chair and hand you a bottle. When you get done drinking, I pile some finger food on your tray and let you feed yourself. You are getting so good at doing this!
Of course, cleaning up after you eat is a little more involved now… In fact, most days there is usually a moment that happens a half hours or so after you finish eating when the light hits the back of your head or the top of you face a certain way and I realize that you have banana goo or sweet potato dried to your skin somewhere. Hey – nobody said learning to feed yourself wasn’t dirty work!
